When I saw the queue of people at the Acropolis and with my ticket from Turbo Pass just passed everyone, I was very glad that I had bought this. I could easily go underground and also use the hop on hop off buses. For me the passport was definitely worth it.
With the City Pass in our pocket, we traveled to Athens with peace of mind and the holiday started stress-free. We took advantage of the benefits offered and enjoyed not having to wait long in the heat. It was perfect ... !!!
Athens City pass Mini is not bad. But the visits do not legitimize all the sights and museums of Athens. With Mini Pass you need extra ticket for Acropolis. But on the whole, it's very practical.
We definitely looked at more than Athens City Pass if we did not have one. He almost looked like a recommendation tour and everything worked out great. Hop on Hop Off was easy to find as the Athenians are also very helpful. Only the price seems a bit high, because all kids U18 are free from entrance fees in Athens. In May, the onslaught was nowhere so much that we had to wait any longer. I would buy the passport only for summer.
We were only 1 day (5-6 hours) with a cruise ship in Athens. With the help of the ticket we could quickly take the subway from Pireus to Athens, visit the Acropolis ticket and City Pass Acropolis and Acropolis Museum without waiting. In the end we had time for the Plaka, and for a walk in Pireus.
the pass allowed us to not have to bother with ticket booths and go direct to entrances. some locations the ticket booth was not beside an entrance. also by buying the pass. overall price for exertions was cheaper. Note: we went to all most all of the places on the ticket. well worth the up front cost verses individually. I highly recommend if you attend to go to most of the sites they offer.
Seeing the city from above is the only way to travel. Skip the subway and take the open top tour you won't regret it!
You save a lot of time on holiday and can inform even at home in peace. Unfortunately, some information was unclear, such as airport transfer if you stay in Athens for more than 72 hours, but you can easily clear it on the spot. Especially tickets are very convenient, you do not have to wait. Always my pleasure.
Highly recommend buying the complete pass. Covers transportation, including round trip to/from airport. Not just metro but buses too! No waiting in line for tickets, always a plus!
It was an useful solution, not only not to wait on queues, but also even to know what to see there.
Thank you, always happy, even if only a few hours time
The hop on hop off tour for 2 days was okay. The New Acropolis Museum was great, no waiting at the box office. We recommend.
The Complete Athens City Pass was worth the cost for getting to see many wonderful sights in Athens. Would be even a better deal if it extended to an extra day, because we were not able to see everything we wanted within 72 hours.
The Pass is worthwhile for the Hop-on / Hop-off buses and for the Acropolis Museum, we did not have time to use the shopping percents. We are all routes driven by bus, Metro is not needed.
Convenient pass, you can go on every public transport also from/to airport and city tour bus. But best of all: no need to queue at the Acropolis and the museum.
I was in Athens for a few days so the tour bus which had 4 routes were pretty good. I also went to the new Acropolis Museum. Overall, it was a good experience. Also, I didn't expect Athens to have some nice views.
You have to be on the road to get the price "reinzuholen", but if you have the passport, you can just get in and out.
The pack was well organised. Especially like the large map.
Found Athens to be a beautiful place to visit. Really enjoyed the sights and food there.
Classic Pass would have worked just as well as the Complete. Museum Pass and Hop On Hop Off bus were the best part of the City Pass. Utilized Metro Pass just once during the trip, but it is very easy to use. Museum Pass made visiting all the sites very easy and remember you don't need to wait in line, you have the ticket in your package if you select Classis or Complete. Hop On Hop Off bus great way to the city and surrounding. Blue Line= City, Red=Port, Green=Coast/Beaches. Blue and Green were the best way to get around.
The Athens City Pass give you a good enter at the Acropolis at the south gate. If you want a quick visit go on Sunday morning early and you have no waiting time. Also the hop-on/off bus with three route was very nice because you have time for two days and I enjoyed it very well.
