The Treasure of San Gennaro tells the uniqueness of the history that binds the city of Naples to its Patron Saint. The Chapel and the Sacristies are also among the most important monuments of the Neapolitan Baroque.

The Treasure of San Gennaro developed around two extraordinary relics: the Saint's head and his blood. The head is kept in the reliquary bust exhibited in the Chapel, while the blood is kept in the safety box walled behind the altar. An extraordinary collection of objects has been created around these two relics over the centuries, made in gold, silver, bronze, pearls and precious stones.
