The museum of the Fundació Antoni Tàpies foundation is located in the historic Simón publishing house in the Eixample district. Antoni Tapies was a Spanish painter, graphic artist and sculptor. As one of the great artists of the 20th century, he was recognised as a master of abstraction – but he always saw himself as a realist.
