The history of Estrella Damm goes back over 140 years. Founded in 1876 by August Kuentzmann Damm, a brewer from Alsace, and his wife Melanie, the brewery began its journey in Barcelona after the Franco-Prussian War. Their aim was to brew a beer that perfectly suited the Mediterranean climate. They developed a light, refreshing lager and stuck to their original recipe, which remains unchanged to this day. Estrella Damm uses only barley malt, rice and hops, with no additives or preservatives. The brewery, rooted in the German brewing tradition, is a symbol of quality and craftsmanship in Mediterranean beer brewing.
This tour not only offers a deep insight into the history and tradition of Estrella Damm, but also a unique sensory experience that highlights the craftsmanship and quality of the beer.
