Since 2015, the Cattedrale dell'Immagine has found its home in the historic church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, an architectural gem in the heart of Florence. The long-disused building has been transformed into a vibrant place where art, culture and tradition can be experienced in a fascinating new way. The Cattedrale dell'Immagine offers visitors a completely new way to experience art. Here, famous works of art are brought to life using the latest technology. Large-scale projections, captivating sound effects and interactive elements create an immersive environment that literally allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of art.

Currently, Cattedrale dell'Immagine is presenting the exhibition “Inside Klimt”, which will be on display from October 26, 2024 to March 2, 2025. This show is dedicated to the famous Viennese Secessionist Gustav Klimt and promises to bring his works to life in a completely new way. With the help of cutting-edge technologies, Klimt's artistic universe will be within reach.

More than just a museum, the Cattedrale dell'Immagine is an invitation to experience art in a completely new and captivating way. Here, past and present, tradition and innovation merge into an unforgettable experience in the heart of the art city of Florence.

  • Opening hours
    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 10:00 am – 07:00 pm
    Thursday: 10:00 am – 06:30 pm
    Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 am – 07:30 pm
  • May 10: The exhibition closes at 03:30 pm (ticket office closes at 02:30 pm)
  • May 11: The exhibition closes at 6:30 pm (ticket office closes at 5:30 pm)   
  • Please present your Florence City Pass at the ticket office to access the attraction and the current exhibition.
  • Tickets are available until one hour before the exhibition closes.
  • Just a 15-minute walk from the main train station, very close to Ponte Vecchio.
