What awaits you on site

Experience Hamburg from the water! With the Hamburg City Pass, you can see the Jungfernstieg and the skyline of Hamburg’s city centre from a new perspective: from the Alster. The oldest and only remaining genuine Alster steamer, the "St. Georg" from 1876, takes you on a round trip. In the traditional and cosy steamer, the Alster round trip takes you across the Inner Alster, under the Lombards Bridge and onto the Outer Alster. The crew, consisting of the captain, engineer and conductor, will take you back in time on the faithfully restored steamboat.

All trips with the Alterdampfer are cancelled up to and including 21 November.

No tours: 24 – 26 December, 1 January – 4 March
As the steamer is a unique vessel over 150 years old, there may be cancellations and maintenance for short periods or over several days.
