There are hardly any additional costs for the City Pass. All main attractions were included in the price. We booked with local transport, where the way to and from the airport is included. So on arrival we did not have to worry about how to get a suitable ticket. We would buy the City Pass again and highly recommend it. Sometimes there are even reductions in restaurants (eg hard rock café). You just do not forget to ask. We had less cost with the City Pass than if we had paid separately.

I came for the second time to enjoy the City Pass and it's worth it! 3 days pass used - for 84,90 as of 2019. If I can now enumerate our 1st day. Ticket for S-Bahn (while the day ticket 6.50) City Tour 18 Euro (hop on hop off) Harbor Tour 20 Euro Panopticon 6.50 Euro So it pays off you can make good use of it with 2-3 attractions per day. And the public transport pass in Hamburg is good.
