The Cap San Diego has been moored in Hamburg harbour as a museum ship since 1988. A well-signposted tour with lots of information leads visitors through the interior of the world’s largest seaworthy museum freighter – whether through the superstructure, over the bridge, through the impressive engine room or down into the wave tunnel. In addition, two permanent exhibitions or temporary documentaries provide information about the history of seafaring and topics relating to the sea.
Several times a year, the Cap San Diego organises trips with up to 500 passengers.
For all those who like a bit of action during their visit, there is an escape game on board. You can choose between several levels of difficulty. A real adventure! The game can be purchased in addition to your City Pass.
