Munich, the Bavarian capital, has a lot to offer. With the two hop-on hop-off bus tours - the Express Circle Tour and the Grand Circle Tour - you have the perfect opportunity to explore the city at your own pace.

Express Circle Tour - 7 stops

The Green Tour is ideal for those who are short on time but still want to experience the highlights of Munich. With a total of seven stops, including famous places such as the Pinakothek museums, Odeonsplatz and the English Garden, you can hop on or off at any stop. The tour is already included in the Munich City Pass, which saves you €26. If you use the Munich Card, you will receive a 10% discount on the Express Circle Tour.

The stops in detail:

Karlsplatz – a lively square in the centre of Munich

Pinakothek museums – pure art and culture

Odeonsplatz – a historic square with impressive architecture

Englischer Garten – one of the largest city parks in the world

Marienplatz/town hall/Viktualienmarkt/cathedral – the heart of the city

Max-Joseph-Platz/opera/residence – a centre of Bavarian culture

The buses run every 20 minutes from April to October, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the sights at your leisure. On board, there is an audio system that provides information in several languages, including German, English, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese and French, as well as a children's channel.

Orange Tour: +4 stops (Grand Ticket)

For a more extensive exploration of Munich, we recommend the Grand Ticket, which includes a total of 11 stops. This tour offers you the opportunity to marvel at the city's most popular attractions from a double-decker bus.

Nymphenburg Palace-A majestic baroque palace

BMW World & Museum-A paradise for car fans

Olympiapark-The venue for the 1972 Olympic Games

Schwabing/English Garden - a cultural and culinary experience

As with the Express Circle Tour, you can get on and off at any stop. The on-board audio system provides you with information in different languages, so you can learn all about the city during the ride.
