I used the card mainly to take public transportation. I found it very useful.
Touristic cards sometimes have the "charm" of wanting to earn a lot of money, so that a more intense consideration worthwhile. By contrast, the MünchenCard is hardly more expensive than a normal MVV day pass (based on a 2-day ticket for me), so you can make a good purchase. For a day I find the map less attractive, but from 2 days you can certainly save. Important, you have to prepare in advance a small but realistic plan and be clear about what you want to see, then the MünchenCard is a good decision.
Transport is efficient and discounts attractive.
We have already bought and printed the Munich Card online at home. As a result, we were able to use the public transport carefree immediately after arrival in Munich. Furthermore, we have also taken some discounts on entries. Highly recommended is the German Museum, but you should spend a few hours off, as it is simply gigantic. We also took a tour of the Old Town through Munich and discovered the secret places of the old town. On our next trip to Munich, the Munich Card is back in the baggage!
I've used similar cards in Rome and Vienna, so I've decided to buy it also.
I've bought Munich Card not a City Pass because we've planned trip only for two days and we wanted to visit few big museums where you need a lot of time (e.g Deustsches Museum, Alte Pinakotek), so it hasn't been profitable for us to spend more money (we couldn't visit more places)
We've also used it as a ticket for buses, metro and trains.
This Card is almost at the same price like a public transport ticket for two days and you can get discounts to all interesting places
If you travel as a group (even 2 people) you can buy a group card.
It is the best solution for adults !
It was all so easy ... Thanks to the card, we could use without the eternal ticket purchase and solve all public transport easily. Always happy
We used a group card for 2 days. The price is very good in contrast to the rates for single trips. Our tip: the Lenbachhaus, a collection of pictures from Kandinski to Beuys.
With the Munich Card we were always mobile and had many discounted visitors on museum visits. Can just be recommended. TOP !
We had the pass for 5 days. It was a group pass. It really paid off! Best deal for you if you visit Munchen ! Easy to buy, easy to use !
We bought our Munic Card in advance and when we arrived we didn't have to waste time thinking what kind of public transport tickets to buy. The discount for certain attractions was very welcome. The city park where they surf was very relaxing. As a daytrip we went to Schwangau.
Munich has much to offer and the purchase of the Munich Card Group has been very rewarding for us. In various places we could benefit from the discounts. The Old Town tour and the view from the Town Hall tower are worthwhile. Highly recommended is a meal in the beer garden on Viktualienmarkt and in the Rathauskeller. Our experience with public transport was very good, we got everywhere fast.
Who makes a holiday in Munich, does not need a car. Public transport in the form of the MVV is so top that every destination in the Munich network can be reached by bus, tram, underground and S-Bahn and regional express every 10 minutes. And here we are talking about Andechs, Starnberg or Erdingen as far-off destinations in the network and all areas in Munich itself. A group day ticket costs 5 euros for 26 people and makes 156 euros for 6 days. The Munich Pass costs only 85 euros. And he works. In addition, you save on many attractions. He really is worth it. At the next city trip again the turbo pass is used
I saved some euros with it!
During the four days we spent in Munich, we gratefully took advantage of public transport, museums and other attractions. Of course, it is impossible to use all options in four days. It was a shame that during the days we were in Munich, installations related to the motor show were being set up in many places. This greatly prevented us from admiring the beautiful buildings. But that's a reason to come back. Thank you very much.

Was great for transport. Not really an advantage for families because family carts are cheaper than discounted prices, of course not for everything.
The combination ticket is great. Spots with a larger radius could possibly be added. We were very satisfied.
The Munich card made us happy because we were able to move around all the way, we had discounts on some sights like the sealife and the tower at the olympik zentrum. For 5 days 50 euros seemed a little expensive for us, that's the only downside I find.
It was good to be able to use public transport in Munich at any time without having to worry about a ticket. In addition, cheaper than if you had to buy each time individual tickets. In addition there was the discount for many sights. At the next visit we will buy another one.
