We bought the card for our young visitor from abroad. That was the best decision to get to know the city. If you have an independent visit, you can send them on a city tour with the card without hesitation. Since not all sights are feasible, it is all the better that everything is actually included and you can decide for yourself what is important and worth seeing for yourself. This is also a great thing for people who live here, as you can go exploring much cheaper than regular. You should plan some time. The 2-day pass is currently still the most sensible in terms of price / performance. It would be great if the 3-day pass would be a little cheaper in comparison.
With the CityPass, we were able to leave our car in the parking lot and made all journeys in and around Munich with public transport.
We were able to see and experience a lot in the three days, entry / guided tour was uncomplicated, as the necessary information was included and we were able to make full use of the pass.
With the City Pass, we were able to easily travel to the Olympiapark, Englischer Garten and other sights by underground and S-Bahn without buying tickets beforehand. The connections were very good, without long waiting times.
The fact that you can not only use public transport with the Munich City Pass, which makes a city trip much easier, but also get a discount for so many sights, makes the pass a non plus ultra for exploring this beautiful city! Our personal highlight was Nymphenburg Palace with the great, spacious park.
My highlight was that I was able to go to the Lenbachhaus for free and ride the Ferris wheel High Sky. Also otherwise great discounts.
Get on without thinking, change to tram, subway or S-Bahn. Discounts great.
Would buy the city pass again. We saved a lot of money, so we saw and participated in a lot.
The card is worth it just for using local public transport. In Munich, the English Garden and the Olympiaberg are highly recommended
Everything went smoothly. We will use it again on our next visit to Munich.
All trains, buses and trams are included. Only Sea Life would have been € 85 for an adult and a young person. Olympia tower again 20 € etc. We saved almost 400 € entry. 5 day pass is really worth it. Nymphenburg castle, residence, etc. Highly recommended.
- Recommended alone for public transport as a family or small groups - Problem-free acceptance by facilities and restaurants I will get this card again for the next city tour in July 2021. Top !!!
I can only recommend Munich, the old town offers an absolutely rustic atmosphere. The sights could all be visited with the City Pass. Worth a visit again at any time
Great drinks in the Pusser's New York Bar at Falkenturmstrasse 9
The city pass was very useful. You can use all the local transport and go everywhere.
