Are you ready for a magical underwater adventure? With the Naples City Pass, a natural wonder awaits you in the Blue Grotto that will enchant you. This millennia-old cave, once an elegant Roman nymphaeum, was rediscovered by two German painters in 1826 and has since delighted thousands of visitors every year.

Your adventure begins when you board one of the small blue and white rowing boats. The experienced Capri boatmen will guide you safely through the narrow entrance - you will have to lie flat on the floor of the boat. Hold your breath for a moment as you enter one of the most spectacular caves in the world.

Once inside, you are surrounded by an unreal, intense blue colour. Sunlight shining through an underwater opening and reflecting off the white sandy bottom bathes the entire cave in a magical azure light. This unique light effect is at its strongest between midday and 2 pm.

During your 5-minute stay in the grotto, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and imagine how Roman emperors once bathed and relaxed here. The Blue Grotto is not only a natural wonder, but also a place full of history and legends.

April to October: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
November to March: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (last admission at 1:30 pm)
The ticket counter closes 30 minutes before the end of opening hours

Included: Entrance to the Blue Grotto (boat trip must be paid additionally). The price is between 15-25€ depending on the time of year.
Booking: Simply show your Naples City Pass to the staff on site. The grotto can only be entered by small rowing boats.
