Well worth it for 3 days, especially the fast access has saved long waiting and time. Too bad that the hop on hop of only applies for one day.
Alone that one did not have to wait endlessly overcrowded cash register areas was perfect. The use of public transport was uncomplicated. Even to the sea we could go with it. With the next city trip the turbo pass is certainly again an issue.
We used the pass for the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Palentino and the hop-on-hop-off bus tour and also for the airport shuttle Campino!
Before flight we find out that our flight was cancelled we have try than to change Vatican visit for another day whit City Pass and this was not posibile .Otherwise it was every thing fine .
Rome is such a wonderful city to explore and our Rome City Pass was the best way to do it with no stress, economy and a little bit of organisation. Indeed, with the free entrances, it was possible to save long hours of queue thanks to the skip-the-line for the Colosseum and the wonderful Vatican museums. Moreover, if you use it smartly, you can get almost all the best museums for free. In Rome, some museums are in a package as for the 4 national Roman museums : crypta Balbi, palazzos Massimo and Altemps and the thermes of Dioclenisos. So, getting freely with the Rom Pass the entrance ticket for this package is getting you 4 free museums in one entrance !
Moreover, the Turbopass team is very reactive if you need any help, get any question and have some trouble with your pass !
We highly recommend it and will book one for a next trip in another city.

This was our first time in Rome - and certainly not the last time! No matter in which corner of Rome you are, there is always something to see and admire! With the preferred entry in the Vatican Museum, everything went well, that was great! When entering the coliseum we had a bit of bad luck, because on our visit was really very busy and we had to queue for almost two hours at the special entrance ... but if you ever stand in front of the coliseum, you do not just follow suit Home ;-) All in all, it was wonderful days in Rome!
Really practical and saves long waiting times. The only cristal points: Must be picked up at the Vatican (only option) and the time for the visit of the Vatican Museums was simply determined independently.
The positives: Everything promised in the advertisement was respected. Fast Lane at the Colosseum and the Vatican, absolutely perfect. Public transport Subway and buses, easy to understand system, worked great. The negative: A Hop On Tour in Rome makes little sense, because a large part of the highlights are in the historic center and you can not get there by bus. It would definitely be better to use the airport shuttle instead of the Hop On Tour program. Picking up the pass at St. Peter's Square is pretty much the worst solution. You arrive in Termini and then have to go through the whole city, because there is only one place. Here you should an alternative address, z. B. Termini offer.
The turbo-pass does what it promises. Short on the bus or train, without having to worry about a ticket, the queues to the Colosseum and much more, all this can be found cheaper individually on the Internet, but with the Turbo Pass, it is of course much more convenient.
Everything went well. The transfer by public bus and subway was easy. The bus is right at the exit of the airport. The "Fast Lane" entrance to the Colosseum and the Sistine Chapel was really worth it. (We were confused with the booked time of the Sistine Chapel, we thought we would have to be in the chapel at the appointed time, which turned out not to be the case, you just have to go through the entrance so we are past the sights in front of the chapel Very good was the tip through the group exit to go directly into the Peters Dom .. A good ice cream I ate directly at the Trevi well, but it is not cheap
Basically good, but should be explained in the application even better and clearer. For example, the trains of the Italian train can not be used. That is not so easy to find out.
All expectations were met
Having purchased a 6-day Paris and a 6-day Rome pass, I will say the Paris deal is better; but the Rome deal is still very good given how expensive most Rome museums are. Adding the Vatican tickets was definitely worth it. Therefore, all-in-all, still worth the money. However, the Rome pass should offer more like the Paris pass (separate travel voucher/tickets), and the Rome Turbo Pass part needs a lot more selections/participating sites (not just discounts to stuff we could care less about and a stupid bus tourist bus ride--sorry, for us, those touristy bus rides are a joke). Now that I've used the pass in two cities, I will definitely be looking at others; however, I am definitely savvier as to reviewing all that comes with to make sure I get the best deals possible.
Class is with the fast inlet and no queuing. For actually 5 stars. One star deduction: We did not realize where the bus stops are. One we had finally discovered, but this was then out of order. Was not very nice in the rain to search for stops. Very nice was the fast delivery of the passports by mail. We were in Rome for four days, then bought a day ticket for the Metro for the fourth day. Maybe you should also offer a passport for 4 or 5 days.
It helped me avoid the long ques at the Vatican and the Colloseum.
Very necessary for the new traveller who has no guides to help.
Good, it saves waiting times
Overall, the pass is absolutely recommended. Handling is easy and the service the pass offers is comfortable and within reach - especially public transport - should not be underestimated. You can, once arrived, start immediately. Nevertheless, the pass has a small drawback. I would have liked hints if it refers only to parts of a visit point. This is something you can not notice as a first-time visitor to a city. So the entrance to St. Peter's Basilica is not included. You can visit for free, but then a several hours wait - under certain circumstances in blazing sun - in purchase. Here, a hint would be useful. The same applies to the Roman Forum. Otherwise, everything is easy to handle. We would always travel with the passport again.
The biggest advantage in Rome with this pass is certainly the time (no queuing for the attractions) and not so much the money savings. Ideal if, like me, you spend only two or three days in the city and want to see as much as possible.
Did work well, maybe the pickup could be a little more in the center?
