Everything is included, the price is a bit too high!
Everything was perfect, we really got through everywhere right away without getting up. However, the Schriftl.Info, at 6 days to use the passports successively, is not correct, it is everywhere required both.
The most important sights are already included, what more could you want. The included hop-on-hop-off tour could be better. Only a few sights are presented here. All public transport is included (bus, tram, metro). Note: book well in advance, so you also in sights, where you need a viewing appointment (Vatican). Service is great! Since we were too late, we have the costs that would have incurred for the Vatican, get refunded. If the transfer from the airport Fiumicino could be booked, you would have a carefree package.
Without appropriate pass eternal waiting. Unprecedented book a pass before.
It was only a one day Hop On Hopp Off Bus ticket on a 3-day pass. Furthermore, the limited entries interfere. But basically the offer was ok
Unfortunately, we had the city tour bus line with the worst timing, probably the least buses in this line. We had to pass 3 - 4 buses of the other lines, until finally a bus of our line came. Bad too: Our bus line has apparently only convertible - versions without a roof which in the rainy weather, which we had of course was very bad: the bus was empty above, crowded down, so the city tour was really not recommended. Great was the use of public transport, as well as a lot of historic buildings that we looked at.
I would do that again and again.
Vatican without queuing, great, great service
A little tip on the spot: If you decide to book the pass, you should regularly check your mails in the next few days. The pass will only be sent when the date for the Vatican visit is known. So if the desired date is not free, you will get another date proposal - and only with approval, the pass will be sent. But: The service was very helpful in this regard. When the pass did not arrive in time by mail, he could easily be transferred to "pickup". And otherwise, the pass has saved me long queues and constant ticket purchases.
Rome is always really busy no matter what time of year you go. Don't let it spoil your enjoyment! The pass was very beneficial for attractions such as the Colosseum, and the Vatican. Skip some of the lines with the pass, otherwise wait for hours in a long queue. (potentially in very hot weather being constantly bombarded by sellers offering water and souvenirs.) It does not work for the queue at St Peters. Be prepared for a long wait or go at the end of the day!
We used the pass to its fullest. We rate it highly for the travel, which we used extensively esp as we were staying outside of the city center. It's easy to use.
The only dissatisfaction was the open top bus ride. As a party of 5 spanning 3 generations, not one of us thought that the bus tour was worth it. It was really crowded and we had to stand part of the way. There was no air con and the temperature was in the 30's outside. The audio guide only worked on 2 out of the 3 connections. The ticket exchange process was very long and took another 15 mins wait.
Read the booklet that comes with the tickets, it gives good all round info on the passes uses.
With our Turbo Pass for Rome we have saved a lot of time and nerves again. Especially that I did not have to constantly get tickets helped me a lot because I do not speak Italian. The entries without waiting time have saved us a lot of time and were very straightforward.
For me, it has proven once again that such a city pass can save a lot of time and nerves. Especially with the skip-the-line entries we saved a lot of time. Also just to jump in a public transport without always having to look for tickets before was very relaxed. Unfortunately, the Unterlangen have not arrived in time, but also here was quickly remedied and the documents were issued on the spot in Rome. All in all, I was very happy with my decision for the map.
Has all worked great, past the snake is worth gold! Time was too short for the Hop on Off bus tour. Can only recommend the pass!
Pros:
Easier than going thru 3 websites and purchased the individual passes
The pick-up process is fast and easy
Cons:
The Hop-on/off bus is not very useful. It is easier/faster to take the bus and walk.
You could save more if you purchase the tickets on your own for Teen and Child
Overall, I would recommend this to people who prefer spending a few more euros for the convenience of 1 stop shopping
saves a lot of time and money
Good communication. Initially was shipped only 3 of 5 passes ordered. One email and it was rectified. But no maps and books sent. Another email and this also was quickly rectified. The passes are certainly great value for money. Would recommend this to anyone and will buy again.
I opted for the Roma Pass for 6 days including the Vatican ticket and the Hopp on-Hopp off bus. The City Pass was very useful, as we could enjoy the sights without waiting in eternally long queues and without admission fees and use the public transport, as well as train to the beach. The well-made booklet provided lots of information and advice that you should be sure to internalize and therefore have the booklet with you to look up and become aware of when to visit something. Unfortunately, I lost the important brochure, but had mail to the service on request, the brochure as a PDF file the day after grateful and can retrieve my smart phone. therefore, I think the brochure should also be made available directly as a PDF. We did not need to use the Hopp on- Hopp off-bus, as we had a very central hotel and everything was good on foot or z. B. could reach the bus40, but I could not overlook before. All in all, a worry-free package, with which every user should be informed ahead of time and in detail.
We had the rom pass for six days. Could start at the main attractions by the preferred access everywhere without long queuing right with the sightseeing. At the entrance of Castel Sant'Angelo we would not even have a preferred entrance needed, there was nothing going on. Have also participated in the hop-on-hop-off bus tour. Too bad that there are only 11 stops here. Other providers drive more stations. The explanations about the earplugs are a bit poor. The use of public transport has worked without problems. In our opinion, it is best to ask Rome by foot. We discovered a very good restaurant near the Spanish Steps (The Fronte A ...). Here we recommend the Rigatoni Gricia e Tartufo. Delicious!!! And the price-performance ratio is right! To take advantage of all the possibilities of the Rome Pass, we could have spent another six days in Rome. But after the weather was so great, you do not spend all that time in various museums.
It is so much included that you can not use everything, the entries of the highlights on the included city map does not match the description
Everything worked out great for us. Especially the tip concerning Sixt. Chapel and side entrance to St. Peter's Basilica. Thus, we have saved another long wait.
