We really enjoyed the Rome City Pass. Being able to skip the line at the Colosseum was great and we added on the Vatican tour and being able to skip the line there was great too. One family member had trouble with their transportation pass, so that was unfortunate but other than that it was great.
A great, cheaper alternative to the other passes available. To collect the tickets in person you need to head towards the Vatican, there is a shop on the right hand side in the square, to collect them. We received our tickets but not a map with the bus route on, which made finding our way round difficult as we only saw the blue tour bus once, and couldn't find a stop for it without the map. Overall the Rome City Pass was great, does exactly what it says!

Great convience with the Rom City Pass, whether it is from the price-performance ratio I am not so sure. Super was that we had nowhere to wait, and had an appointment for the Sixtine Chapel. The pick up at the Vatican was a bit far from the main station. From the time everything went great. We were able to walk past the Vatican Museum by the serpent and came in without waiting. Preferred entries are worth gold
It is really very handy to walk past the great attractions along the serpent, but it was worth it alone. Bus & train connection is also top within the old town. Nevertheless, it makes sense to get up early. Even if you pass the queue at the entrance is partly but very crowded. It is now also not the most favorable variant, but more relaxed.
