Thanks to the pre-ordered Rome City Pass we saved a lot of time on site. We went into the Vatican, Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Castel d'Angelo just to list the highlights. Except for security which everyone had to do we never had to wait in a long queue, which was exceptionally long for the Vatican (like 200-300m) and Colosseum. So, Rome, veni, vidi, vici.
Everything worked so well. Vatican Museum, online reservations for Galeria Borgehse. What more do you want. Even the small beifegüte travel guide is perfect, otherwise we would not have driven to Ostia, have already recommended this pass to friends when they go to Rome. Also on my next city trip I look at the turbo pass, if there is an offer. It's easy and you do not have to constantly dig out your wallet or credit card.
My wife, parents, and I visited Rome the first weekend of August, Sunday to Tuesday. We visited the Borghese, Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo and Palatine Hill/Roman Forum. We did not have tour guides for any attraction so the passes were well worth the cost simply to skip the lines, especially at the Colosseum and Vatican. The free bus/metro access was very convenient too! Be sure to make a reservation if you go to the Borghese. Would definitely recommend.
Super easy ordering and handling - saved us some time and unnecessary stress next time
Made the city break in Rome very relaxed :)
We were without queuing in the Sistine Chapel and in the Coliseum. Everything was uncomplicated.
When in Rome, everything is very exciting, specially if you like history. But, if you don't enjoy the crouds so much, you wil love Trastevere, there is plenty of mall trattorias and not so full of tourists, the prices are great and there you can enjoy an italian atmosphere. So after your sightseen, Trastevere will be waiting for you to have a break, good food and drinks.
Everything worked well with the Rom Pass!
Everything worked out wonderfully. thanks for that.
The Rome Pass was immediately sent with a map and explanation. Coliseum, engelsburg and Vatican we have used it. Metro and buses without any problems (if you knew which of the cards you had to hold the counter ;-) We had not used museums, but I'll look for a city map on my next city break.
At first we would have to think about whether we really ran past the long queues - but it went great. Within 10 minutes in the Colosseo (instead of 3 hours wait) as well as in the Varikan and many other museums. Train, subway and bus ran smoothly! Will we take the next time in Rome again!
As described in the supplement to the cards, the tips were especially helpful here! At all sights it was actually past the very large queues! We would do this again and again and buy a Turbopass in advance!
Everything worked as stated. Also, the exchange of the free kids card caused no waiting and the staff were obviously familiar.
Purchased a 3-day pass, you could get in very quickly everywhere. The delivered package has all explanations and insider tips included. Simply great!
We bought the product to facilitate access to attractions and transportation, it really did, it was a good decision since we did not have to worry about transportation and got access to all attractions we were looking for. Rome is an exiting city and hope to visit it again.
Very practically no queuing everything went very well
Everything worked out wonderfully. Rome City Pass was there within 2 days by post. No queuing in Rome, the enclosed information booklet was very helpful, especially the tip with the best pizzeria near colloseum. True, pizza, wine, price and service were great. We completed the bus trip 3 times on the same day. We recommend
We have only had good experiences with the passport. Without him, the holiday would have been only half as nice. To the Turbopass: Very good visual and above all informative presentation. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. It's also worth it if you can not take advantage of all the possibilities of the pass for time reasons. Was sent super fast. No long queuing at the Collosseum and the Vatican.
