Were 2 days in Rome and through the turbo pass really worth it ... have seen everything we wanted to see and were able to go anywhere to the standing people directly to the attraction!
It all worked out wonderfully, from the drive from the airport to Rome downtown, over the bus ride with the hop-on-and-off bus, to the entrances. One could walk past the queues and did not have to queue up. Descriptions in the accompanying guide were also correct. We used the pass for 3 days. It's really worth it.
The purchase of the passport was a good decision. It all worked out, as described in the booklet, even the entrance to the Vatican went smoothly, although we were half an hour earlier to it, as agreed by you. Super was definitely the use of the public transport network. I think it's important to think carefully in advance which passport you need. At the next city tour I will definitely look again, if a city pass is offered.
Particularly noteworthy is the straightforward telephone handling of the spontaneous order and reservation with pick-up in a local office.
I have used turbo pass in all the cities I visit in Europe it is the best way of getting around all in one package with no standing in a line waiting I have recommended it to my friends who have also used it and loved it as well
We did a lot of research to find a pass that suited our plans and finally glad that we found the TurboPass. Our 48 hour pass was super value for money. We stayed in Rome close to metro so used it to travel everywhere at any time, hop on hop off bus, free access to Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and Skip the line at Vatican. We booked it last minute so had to pick up the pass from a little shop in close to St. Peter's. I would recommend booking it in advance and getting it delivered to you.
I am sure this pass would have been perfect, you send us all we needed, npbut never got to use it since we never made it to Italy! Sad, 6 months in planning, much money spent, and dashed hopes by Lufthansa/ United failed airline!
The turbo passes have made our days in Rome a lot easier and more comfortable. A very great thing - you can only recommend. There are so many tourists in Rome but with Turbopass you can avoid standing in line and save a lot of time and we have saved a lot of money. Also very good then you can take the tourist buses and metro - even bus from the airport. EXCELLENT! trier
Did a great job, a comfortable solution.
Very useful was the note in the Sistine Chapel to use the right exit for groups to bypass the queue to St. Peter's Basilica.
Pick up the pass in front of vatican and then start your visit! Easy - not sure you save money but you skip the line which matters a lot in Roma
All snakes around, use public transport, while still saving money. Works free of charge including a fast mailing of documents.
First of all we received excellent service when we ordered the Rom City Passes. They arrived promptly in the mail, along with maps and detailed information on how to use them. Any additional questions we had were immediately answered by email. We were very happy!
Once in Rome we became aware just how much money we saved using the passes. Being able to skip the lines was fantastic as they were incredibly long. We would have otherwise had to wait for hours and would have lost valuable time. Being able to just get on a bus or the metro with our passes was also beyond convenient. And so easy.
Rome is a beautiful, amazing city with sooo much to see and experience. This was our first time there and we had the most wonderful time. I honestly believe that having the foresight to purchase the passes has enabled us to get the most out of our time there.
Wow! We did everything and more with the Rome city pass! It was super fun to see the ancient ruins of the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill/ Forum Area, but the Hop On- Hop Off Bus Tour was an added bonus for modern Rome! Plus, the Vatican was a must-see. Also, the Villa Borghese (pictured here) was a nice break from the heat, and was fun for exercise and people watching. Highly recommended.
Super awesome .. It was best to go past long queues to get in quickly ... Free then bus and metro drive. Always my pleasure.
It was the best we could do for Rome. We had nowhere to queue, driving with the public was so easy. And the hop onoff ride was awesome. I would recommend to everyone.
Thanks to the pre-ordered Rome City Pass we saved a lot of time on site. We went into the Vatican, Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Castel d'Angelo just to list the highlights. Except for security which everyone had to do we never had to wait in a long queue, which was exceptionally long for the Vatican (like 200-300m) and Colosseum. So, Rome, veni, vidi, vici.
Everything worked so well. Vatican Museum, online reservations for Galeria Borgehse. What more do you want. Even the small beifegüte travel guide is perfect, otherwise we would not have driven to Ostia, have already recommended this pass to friends when they go to Rome. Also on my next city trip I look at the turbo pass, if there is an offer. It's easy and you do not have to constantly dig out your wallet or credit card.
My wife, parents, and I visited Rome the first weekend of August, Sunday to Tuesday. We visited the Borghese, Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo and Palatine Hill/Roman Forum. We did not have tour guides for any attraction so the passes were well worth the cost simply to skip the lines, especially at the Colosseum and Vatican. The free bus/metro access was very convenient too! Be sure to make a reservation if you go to the Borghese. Would definitely recommend.
Super easy ordering and handling - saved us some time and unnecessary stress next time
