A beautiful viewpoint is the Castel Sant'Angelo, from here you can see beautiful the ancient buildings of Rome.
The world's best tiramisu is not far from the Spanish Steps in Bar Pompi. Only to be recommended!
It was absolutely worth it! Colosseum, Palatine and Vatican Museums included. Metro, which is very convenient.
During the autumn holidays 2017 we flew to Rome for 4 days. We spent a lot of time thinking about how to plan the days optimally and not have to wait for hours with the kids everywhere. In addition, we had to find a solution to the additional costs (subway rides) reasonably under control, so we chose the Rom City Pass 3 days, this is for adults as well as children. (Children have basically up to a certain age free admission, but brings nothing, if you want to pass the queue and has no Rome passport, then pending) In addition, we were able to all subway rides for 3 days and the entrance into the Coliseum, Roman Forum and Vatican Museums cover. Especially in the Vatican Museums and in the Colosseum it was a huge advantage to pass the snake with the children. Nevertheless, you always have to wait because of the bag checks and visit times should be planned on Google Maps, there you can look at the visit distribution, it is basically the sooner the better. St. Peter's Cathedral is best viewed late in the afternoon. In Rome City Pass is still a hop on / off bus ride included, a round trip takes about 2 hours and was for kids and adults totally great and relaxing. The train ride to / from the airport is not included in the Rome City Pass. Booking through Turbopass is easy (but you have to specify an approximate date and time to visit the Vatican Museums). We ordered the Rome City Pass online and got it delivered within 3 days.
With the turbo pass everything worked out great, especially at the coliseum we would have had to wait 2 hours otherwise. Also at the metro there were no problems. Also the city tour we liked, we would like to have detailed information on the way. The attached city map has taken us all day to every destination. Can you really recommend, uncomplicated and vacation from the start.
Payment and shipping went smoothly. Entrance to places of interest and travel by public transport went as described. No annoying queuing and ticket purchase. Gladly again.
Very satisfied. Especially to the Vatican. Museums saved a lot of time.
We took advantage of the Rome City Pass very well! The highlight is always the "march past" on the snakes. Metrofahrt without any problems, admission to the museums also, even the Hop on Hop off tour is included! Five days of sunshine in Rome have made our tour an unforgettable experience.
Everything worked well. The Rome City Pass is only recommended. All queues could be bypassed as described.
Rome City Pass for 3 days / 3 pers. bought, trouble-free Internet booking ,, questions in advance very friendly, accommodating from hotline i. Hamburg answered. Shipping was also immediate, you get tickets for the individual services. Recommendation City tour on the first day, we were hop-on-hop-off the whole day on the road, good explanations in German while driving. On the second day we were Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine, etc. Here we have the first time used the 2nd card. Although we total almost 250.- € 3 pers. I would recommend the passport to anyone new to Rome, like us. Unter'm line it pays always, especially as you could easily pass the long queues Colosseum, Vatican with the pass, worked well and you did not have to get in the first 3 days constantly bus / metro ticket. The Rome City Pass made everything much easier. After the 3 days we already knew something in Rome and were able to organize some things like in the evening Trastever and Ostia visit with swimming in the sea !!! Tickets for the metro / train we then bought as day tickets - also valid for several days. Conclusion: Anytime as a newcomer to Rome again, it can only recommend. Ciao ciao
The pass itself is perfect ... you can pass each queue and do not have to. The only drawback is that the pick up address where you can pick up the pass, in our case in Rome, is not well described. The metro station Ottaviano is very large. We then went to the Petersplatz and there we found a shop where you can pick up the pass ....
This is a great idea. Saved time, because you had to queue in the Colosseum without having to queue for a long time. No ticket purchase necessary for public transport. Very convenient. Again and again for other cities.
Without the Rome City Pass, we would not have been able to see half as much, because the queues at the sights were enormous - and so we just passed them (always following the sign after \"Roma Pass\") - was great and is just recommended. Also, public transport whoever does not buy it is his own fault ...
A great time-saver - if you can pass the queues without queuing! The purchase and the delivery to the home address worked without problems. We can recommend the 3-day pass without restriction. All the planned sights we can see and the public transport was included.
We bought the Rome City Pass for our city tour. The use was as promised. There were no problems. At the most important sights (Vatican Museums, Engelsburg, Coliseum) the fast track entrance smoothly. Also the Hop on Hop off bus tour ran super. The pass was definitely worth it for us. All the single entrants would have been more expensive. And above all the saved waiting time is not to be paid for. In short, the pass is highly recommended.
Great thing with the pass! Everything super explained and easy to handle. Any time!
Everything worked perfectly. Quickly past all the snakes. Prima Insider tips inclusive! At the next Citytrip again "City Pass"!
The passport was sent in time, the documents were helpful. When the pass was used in Rome everything went well. Especially when visiting the Vatican it was very satisfying to be allowed in the queue. There were no problems with the voucher. A note for future users of the 6-day pass: For this pass you need 7 nights to make full use of it. For 6 nights you can not always take full advantage, because on Mondays most museums have closed. The bus tour brings only something, if one is familiar in Rome something. In addition, the blue bus is quite rare. Nevertheless, the offer of Turbopass paid off and is to be recommended.
In the autumn, visit the Engelsburg in the late afternoon, then enjoy the sunset, breathtaking ....
