As promised on the homepage: passing the queues, use of public transport, entrance fees, city tour by bus - everything was fine. 2018 again with the Rome City Pass!
We can only recommend the Rome City Pass. We did not have to familiarize ourselves with buying the tickets for public transport. We could go straight from the hotel and start our discovery trip. What inspired us ..., simply past the queues and the separate entrance with the Rome City Pass. Perfect. Saves a lot of time. Our conclusion: Rome is a beautiful city.
We were more than satisfied with the Rome City Pass and would recommend it at any time. We had bought the pass for 3 days. Order and delivery worked flawlessly and quickly. In the accompanying description it was exactly explained how and where one finds the right entrance and how to apply the map. However, we did not use many of the offered discounts. However, this was due to the fact that we are not great museum-goers (except the Vatican Museums). We were mainly concerned not to spend hours of waiting in the queues before the entrances, as we were only four days in Rome and the time was too bad for us. We would rather pay more and spend the few days without waiting. And that worked great. A very, very long queue had already formed along the wall of the Vatican. An 'alley' was however completely empty to the entrance door. This was for the people with the Rome City Pass or for groups that already had their tickets. Therefore, there was no hour-long queuing. Shortly through the security control and down to the separate switch for groups. Quickly exchanged the enclosed voucher for admission tickets and within a few minutes you were in the museum (exactly as described in the enclosed booklet). With the 3-day pass we arrived free of charge and without waiting in the Engelsburg (without security control), the Vatican Museums with Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's, as well as the Colosseum and the Roman Forum (there with security control, which was very fast - perhaps it was synonymous The fact that we were already in Rome in mid-April). We would definitely recommend a visit to the dome of St. Peter's. However, it is up to the top (without elevator) 551 steps and the last stages are very, very tight. With fear of the Narrow one will have its difficulties there. There it is however not completely without queue, since the Rome City Pass does not include the corridor on the dome (6 euros per person without elevator). However, it is worth it.
Stayed for 5 days in Rome and had previously sent us the Rome City Pass, which arrived after two days already. In Rome itself I can only say, simply super !! Most of the places of interest are familiar with the Rome City Pass and there were no problems at the entrance (except for the usual queue in security control). Can I really recommend what I do in my circle of acquaintances also diligently, just as from Rome to swarm ...
It all worked perfectly. We were very satisfied. Regulary.
A great experience and thanks to the Rome CityPass you can simply see more and experience, since one annoying and long waiting times simply bypassed ... It all works quite simply. I would re-select this for every major city for which there is this pass. Recommendation for Rome: Explore the Via Appia by bicycle. Take the bus out and have a bike rental on site ...
The purchase of this package was really worth it! The price seemed a little high at first, but the reduced or free entrance to some attractions and the free use of public transport was not at all the best. That was the possibility to visit the Vatican or the Colosseum. This saved me some stress and boredom so I could enjoy the trip better and did not stand three hours in a queue. Shipping has been fast. Round package, only recommendable.
We visited the Vatican City, the Engelsburg and the Colosseum. The best thing about the pass is that you do not have to queue up. Unfortunately, the public transport is a disaster, you should plan more and more time, since the buses have a lot of delay.
Without this passport and Vatican booking we would have looked old. The snakes were long and we just walked past. Great thing and absolutely necessary so that you have something from his trip.
Everything worked out perfectly! At the Colosseum we waited only 10 minutes and only through the security control. Also with the Vatican museums no waiting time thanks to the passport. Without this we would have waited 6 hours (!!!). It was perfect. I can only recommend this! Any time!
Worth it in any case. Past the queues, do not waste time on buying tickets etc.
With the Rome City Pass we were able to fully enjoy our weekend and enjoy the sights. With the included public transport we also used this stress-free. The city offers many opportunities for both young and old. We recommend this pass because without pending it is very pleasant.
The student quarter of Travestere is definitely worth a visit. Local recommendation "Grazie & Graziella". Had despite megaandrang at Easter no waiting. Everything was great.
Everything worked out perfectly; We saved a lot of time, because there were special inputs for "Roma Card" owners. The accompanying booklet also supported us well: From the Sistine Chapel we have made it directly to St. Peter's because of the advice in the booklet ... completely without queuing! Perhaps it should be pointed out that in the run-up in any case, an extra ticket for 35 € / person for preferred entry into St. Peter's.
A great relief for our trip! For my / our next citytrip for sure again in the luggage!
With the Citypass we saved a lot of time and did not have to wait! So we could experience Rome even more relaxed. Transfer and shipping were quick and uncomplicated.
We have used the Rome City Pass for the second trip to Rome (this time for 6 days) and can only recommend this. Without the pass we would have spent many precious holidays with queues. For the next trip to Rome we will use the pass again.
Through the Rome City Pass we are stuck on long queues and could go directly into the sights. The enclosed explanatory book was great and we had no problems. Always happy again :)
Can I recommend to anyone traveling to Rome, just recommend ... past the mega snakes at the Coliseum and the Vatican ... Also very beneficial for metro bus and tram ...
