This 2-day pass was practical for trying different things like museums not included in the program, tourist buses to take as often as you like over 48 hours (instead of the metro or the city bus). No worries entering the selected museums. You must be well organized and plan travel times between each site.
With the Turbopass we saved a lot of time and received great tips for our stay. Rome is currently a major construction site. Modernization and construction is taking place everywhere. We recommend not taking the transfer buses to and from the airport, but rather the Leonardo Express or another train.
We had a 4-day family journey to Rome. We used the Turbopass ticket to enter the Colosseum, where it was very useful because we had a very hot and humid day and it was rather impossible to stand for hous in the long line already formed at 9.00 am. The ticket granted us instant entrance.
The second day we used the ticket for the Vatican Museums. Although we had to wait in the tourist office for more than 30', we wouldn't have made the entrance without the Turbopass, because again the line under the sun was huge despite the hot weather.
In Pantheon, we were denied entrance, cause Turbopass gives only voucher, and we were told we had to go back to Piazza Navona to the tourist office to obtain a ticket. However at the time of our visit (around 16.00) there were not many people waiting, and we bought the ticket again. Because of this inconvenience I gave only 4 stars.
We also used the Hop on Bus to round the city, however this particular attraction was not as good as in other European cities. The bus was going very slow, with long stops at the stations and a 20' pause in the Terminal Station, taking over 100' for the whole (8-station) round, making it boring and tiresome. However, this was not a fault of Turbopass.
In conclusion, turbopass was not cheap, but we wouldn't have made the Colosseum and Vatican Museums without it, therefore I recommend it.
Once you know how it works, the pass is definitely worth it. Important: Make sure you book tickets for public transport. 1 disadvantage: you always have to look for the person in charge at each sight (the person who has the free tickets).

The Rome City Pass makes it much easier to find the right sights among the many attractions. We were there for a whole week. We looked early to see what was included in the pass and picked out what we wanted. Then we booked a time slot on the relevant websites and set off. It always worked out great, except for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums, which we booked in advance because they are so busy. The catacombs are particularly recommended. We were lucky to have a driver who was really enthusiastic about his city and kept us entertained at various stops.
Apart from a time error for our Colosseum tickets (which was corrected by your organization quite quickly but we had already visited the Colosseum individually), everything worked well, the pass was honored at all places where we visited it. 'used. Thank you for your services.
There are a lot of entrance tickets included. However, it is really annoying to always have to get the tickets from the various ticket shops. For the Colosseum you can also get them online, it's a shame that it doesn't work like that everywhere. Public transport is pretty inadmissible, we didn't use it that often and did a lot on foot, which also saved time. All in all, the Rome City Pass is definitely recommended
That's a great thing. BUT: transfer from the airport ONLY to the main train station/Termini. And with a bus... We decided against it despite booking and just took a taxi into the city center directly to our apartment for 60 or 70 euros. With a 7:00 a.m. flight back home, the transfer doesn't make sense to me - because you have to save money. Bus ticket - great. But the ticket is only valid AFTER you have exchanged the ticket near the main train station (2 minutes away). You can find the address in the small print. Avoiding queues at the sights worked really well!
At the beginning of June, we were in Rome as a couple and had the 72-hour pass. We used it to visit the Colosseum, the Vatican Museums and the Pantheon. We also used the local transport ticket and the hop-on hop-off tours for 48 hours. One advantage was that we got in everywhere quickly and it worked out really well. I thought it was a bit of a shame that you had to pick up the tickets at different places, which was a bit time-consuming. My main reason for only giving it 4 stars is more the financial aspect: I added it all up and if we had bought all the tickets individually, we would have gotten away with around €25 cheaper per person. I think if you also use more museums, it's probably worth it.
Overall, the ticket was fine, but it seems that since May some of the attractions that are listed in the pass description are no longer included, so we often had to pay extra, which was very disappointing as we weren't expecting it (museums, Caracalla Baths, etc.). However, the tickets for the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Pantheon and public transport worked great and did what they promised.
Worked well but having to find the ticket offices was not that easy and difficult to find.
We had the bus pass, a pass for the Colosseum and the Vatican museums.
It would have been easier if the tickets were sent via email so you do not need to tramp around Rome to find tickets.

The Rome City Pass is very interesting because it serves almost all the places that interest tourists. My only reservation concerns the schedules which should start a little earlier in the morning and end a little later in the evening. For example 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. this season. But we were able to do everything we planned.
The Turbopass was a good choice, but unfortunately the time was too short for the many options included. It was good to be able to book an entry time for the Vatican Museums and the Colosseum in advance - this meant we could easily skip the very long queues. A small downside was the unclear situation with the Colosseum: we were 2 adults and a teenager who was allowed into the Colosseum for free. The adults had tickets in advance, but the teenager was only informed that it was free. Only when we got there were we able to clarify that she was allowed to go through the entry control and then get her ticket at a special counter, which was needed for separate entry to the Roman Forum, among other things. Turbopass was not aware of this detail; and the Colosseum only responded to an email request "due to high demand" 8 days later and after the trip. It was an additional effort, and it was certainly not the first time this has happened - the information can perhaps be incorporated in the future.
The Rome City Pass is simply a great thing. You can get everywhere quickly and don't have to wait in lines for ages. Everything worked out great. The only downside is that the tickets have to be picked up in paper form at various tourist offices. That was a bit inconvenient.
The Rome City Pass is a great thing for a week-long visit to Rome! You can visit many sights, and we even discovered places we hadn't yet discovered. However, you have to bear in mind that you have to get tickets for local transport separately. And for some sights there are requirements that you can only visit them if you have booked time in advance. But if you keep that in mind, it's very good. I would advise everyone to get a Rome City Pass, as it makes things a lot easier.
