We do not regret having purchased the City pass for our stay in Rome. We had booked the entrances to the main sites to see, we were able to cross Rome by metro without any problem and the transfer to the airport in the center of Rome went well. The only drawback is that it is a shame to have to go to the City pass office at Termini station to collect the transport ticket for the week. Why not send it by email to the customer? If the plane is delayed in the evening, the office is closed to collect the transport ticket.
I preferred the Firenze Card which offered more visits (museums...). So the city tour and the public transport pass are really a very appreciable plus
No problem with the tickets. Just go to the tourist office, choose the attraction and take the tickets with you. Great thing. I'd be happy to do it again.
We enjoyed our visit because of turbo pass, though we didn't have enough time to see some more places that we wanted to see.
We would recommend it. We order the Colosseum Ticket (Skip Queue ) and Vatican Museum - skip the queue before we left home with the Rome City PAss. I was dubious of the \"skip the queue.\" However it was a great advantage to have this. We availed of many of the additions attractions included in the Pass. We had the hop on hop off bus ticket. We only used it once. WE made more use of the bus/tram ticket. Finding the place where to get the bus/tram ticket was awkward as we were unsure of what we were looking for. The staff handing out the bus/tram tickets were disinterested and rude. We needed to use the Roma Tourisation office to get tickets for the Castel Sant Angelo and the Catacombs and more. The staff in these offices were very efficient, helpful and organised.
It definitely saved us a lot of Euro. For Example we had entry for the Pallatine Hill/Roman Forum. It was included in our Roma City Pass. We became aware that a different tourist was charged 100Euro for entry to this site, which he had to pay at the entrance.
TurboPass tickets are also checked several times, but it goes very quickly. There are many museums and attractions that are actually impossible to visit in the given days, which is why it is overpriced. Nevertheless, I will buy it again. From experience, I will also book an airport transfer. You also have to be patient. The tickets came by email one day before departure, but they also informed me of this in the confirmation email.
The ticket really saves time by not having to queue for hours, for example at the Vatican. However, in addition to the ticket, you are sometimes also required to have an entrance ticket which you have to pick up at the tourist information office, which you first have to find.
great accompaniment to a city break if you’re there to see the sites. Used for Athens and Rome. Fast Track into historic sites is a great bonus as is the hop on hop off buses. Generally better best value if you are there for 3+ days. Be careful with entry on fast track that you don’t miss picking up maps of site visiting, especially for Vatican we did and missed seeing The Sistene Chapel, as didn’t realise entrance through Vatican. Very disappointing! On the whole really good and would recommend.

This 2-day pass was practical for trying different things like museums not included in the program, tourist buses to take as often as you like over 48 hours (instead of the metro or the city bus). No worries entering the selected museums. You must be well organized and plan travel times between each site.
With the Turbopass we saved a lot of time and received great tips for our stay. Rome is currently a major construction site. Modernization and construction is taking place everywhere. We recommend not taking the transfer buses to and from the airport, but rather the Leonardo Express or another train.
We had a 4-day family journey to Rome. We used the Turbopass ticket to enter the Colosseum, where it was very useful because we had a very hot and humid day and it was rather impossible to stand for hous in the long line already formed at 9.00 am. The ticket granted us instant entrance.
The second day we used the ticket for the Vatican Museums. Although we had to wait in the tourist office for more than 30', we wouldn't have made the entrance without the Turbopass, because again the line under the sun was huge despite the hot weather.
In Pantheon, we were denied entrance, cause Turbopass gives only voucher, and we were told we had to go back to Piazza Navona to the tourist office to obtain a ticket. However at the time of our visit (around 16.00) there were not many people waiting, and we bought the ticket again. Because of this inconvenience I gave only 4 stars.
We also used the Hop on Bus to round the city, however this particular attraction was not as good as in other European cities. The bus was going very slow, with long stops at the stations and a 20' pause in the Terminal Station, taking over 100' for the whole (8-station) round, making it boring and tiresome. However, this was not a fault of Turbopass.
In conclusion, turbopass was not cheap, but we wouldn't have made the Colosseum and Vatican Museums without it, therefore I recommend it.
Once you know how it works, the pass is definitely worth it. Important: Make sure you book tickets for public transport. 1 disadvantage: you always have to look for the person in charge at each sight (the person who has the free tickets).
A little complicated to register before each visit to the 4 corners of the city
We loved ROME Even though we wanted to see everything we hadn't had enough time! Fortunately rome city helped us to see most of them without waiting lines .
We use the pass in all sites that was in the package and want it to visit
The Rome City Pass makes it much easier to find the right sights among the many attractions. We were there for a whole week. We looked early to see what was included in the pass and picked out what we wanted. Then we booked a time slot on the relevant websites and set off. It always worked out great, except for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums, which we booked in advance because they are so busy. The catacombs are particularly recommended. We were lucky to have a driver who was really enthusiastic about his city and kept us entertained at various stops.
Apart from a time error for our Colosseum tickets (which was corrected by your organization quite quickly but we had already visited the Colosseum individually), everything worked well, the pass was honored at all places where we visited it. 'used. Thank you for your services.
There are a lot of entrance tickets included. However, it is really annoying to always have to get the tickets from the various ticket shops. For the Colosseum you can also get them online, it's a shame that it doesn't work like that everywhere. Public transport is pretty inadmissible, we didn't use it that often and did a lot on foot, which also saved time. All in all, the Rome City Pass is definitely recommended
That's a great thing. BUT: transfer from the airport ONLY to the main train station/Termini. And with a bus... We decided against it despite booking and just took a taxi into the city center directly to our apartment for 60 or 70 euros. With a 7:00 a.m. flight back home, the transfer doesn't make sense to me - because you have to save money. Bus ticket - great. But the ticket is only valid AFTER you have exchanged the ticket near the main train station (2 minutes away). You can find the address in the small print. Avoiding queues at the sights worked really well!
