Vaporetto trips: With the public transport ticket, tourists can use the famous water buses, known as vaporettos, to get around the canals of Venice. This not only provides a unique view of the city, but also convenient connections to the main attractions.
Island hopping: Venice has many fascinating islands in the lagoon, including Murano (known for glass blowing), Burano (known for colourful houses and lace making) and Torcello (with historical attractions). The public transport ticket allows tourists to easily visit these islands.
Lido di Venezia: The public transport ticket also allows tourists to travel to Lido di Venezia, an island known for its beaches, cafes and the Venice Film Festival.
Exploring Mestre: The public transport ticket allows tourists to easily travel from Venice to Mestre on the mainland to explore the eastern parts of the city and its diverse attractions.
Buses and trams: Tourists can also use the buses and trams in Venice to get around the mainland and the city.

With the optional local transport ticket, you can make the following journeys:
• Bus, tram and vaporetto within Venice
• Journeys to Lido di Venezia Journeys from Punta Sabbioni to Venice and back
• Journeys to Murano, Burano and Torcello by vaporetto (all lines within Venice) Venice)
• Bus and tram journeys to and from Mestre (except line 5)
• Bus line 11 journeys

Please note that the local transport ticket is not valid for the airport transfer.

Period of validity

If you decide to add the optional public transport ticket, you can explore the city in comfort. You can travel for free on buses, trams and vaporettos (water buses). This ticket is a quick and easy way to get to the various attractions in Venice. You can add the public transport ticket for 1 to 7 days as an optional extra and, together with your Venice City Pass, you will receive a pick-up voucher that you can redeem at various pick-up points.

The tickets are valid from the time they are validated:
• for the 1-day Venice Pass, you will receive a day ticket (24 hours) for public transport,
• for the 2-day Venice Pass, you will receive a 2-day ticket (48 hours) for public transport,
• for the 3 day Venice Pass, you will receive a 3-day ticket (72 hours) for public transport,
and for the 4-5-6-7-day Venice Pass, you will receive a 7-day ticket (168 hours) for public transport
