Very satisfied, everything as expected, to be recommended
We booked the Turbopass Classic for Venice. For 2 days the public transport ticket. Everything went well. The transfer from and to the airport, the exchange of vouchers in the given places, the availability of included excursions, everything perfect. The included gondola ride (although to six), was perfectly sufficient to get once gondola (80, - € Festtarif otherwise for 30 minutes). The included island tour and the visit to the opera were well worth it. Compared to the individual bookings gabs more than ne black zero, but above all a significant time gain. On our next city tour, we will certainly again, if possible, make use of turbo pass again.
The turbo pass for Venice has saved us a lot of time and money. Thanks to the turbo pass we had put together our sightseeing program for Venice and were able to plan the days after the pass. Especially at the Doge's Palace and the St. Mark's Basilica, thanks to the pass, one could pass the queue and spare a lot of time hiring. Another point from the pass is that there was a gondola ride that we enjoyed very much and experienced Venice from the water. To get some tickets, you have to pick up the tickets at two different ticket offices. But that's not so bad, because you had to go there anyway to the attraction. What I personally liked a lot was the 4 hour island tour Murano, Torcello and Burana. You could get off at the islands and visit the islands for about an hour. Especially Burana is very nice and it is definitely worth a visit. We would definitely buy the Venice Turbopass again. A special advantage was also the local transport card was there. They exchanged the same at the train station in Messer. And could drive with the buses, vaprettos etc. Only train is not included. Hotel tip I have one too - we slept in the A & O hotel in Mestre. And every day directly from there by bus to Venice. Duration was about 10 minutes. This was perfect.
For a great view over Venice, you do not have to climb the Campanile on Marcusplatz, which often has to be climbed with a long wait and a high ticket price, but you can also take the one on the Isola San Giorgio directly opposite the Marcusplatz. He is not crowded, is cheaper and you go up with a fast elevator.
is worth the money
No waiting times make the stay even more enjoyable.
We could see a lot of Venice, Murano and Burano were excellent, the gondola ride was a dream too. Visits were still possible from 18 museums, but that would have been very stressful in the space of two days. The flat rate for the Vaporetti was very helpful, even if the crowds on the boat and down again was very borderline. Always my pleasure!
We can only recommend to anyone who wants to visit Venice, to buy the Venice City Pass, including public transport, because the vaporettos are as good as everywhere! The investment is worthwhile and stress-free it really does not work. The transfer from and to the airport works wonderfully! Wonderful, if one strolls the visit of the Markus Dom and doge's palace past the super long lines and is directly admitted.
Everything worked wonderfully. Any time !
Experienced great things and seen a lot. The Venice City Pass spares long queues eg St. Mark's Basilica. The pass is worthwhile if you do a lot, everything is very straightforward. A small problem was resolved within a short time by the customer service to the fullest satisfaction. Thank you again for that ...
It was just awesome. We went past the queues of people directly into the sights. It was also cheaper than if we had bought the tickets locally. The transfer from the airport to Venice was just great, time-saving and fast.
The Turbo Pass has worked great everywhere, from the transfer to the Grand Canal tour. It was a great trip and we saw a lot and learned about Venice.
Everything worked perfectly, simple and very understandable.
Option including public transport I find ideal. Large selection. Costs are clear even before the trip. No annoying waiting time at the cash registers and handle money or card. I have already used it for Rome, Athens, Venice and Barcelona and was always satisfied.
With the LInea 1 of the Vaporetti you can make a nice and cheap (7.50 € / person) Canal Grande ride. In San Toma next to the Vaporetto stop there is also a Traghetto. Here you can take the gondola for only 2 € / person over the Grand Canal and does not always have to walk to the overcrowded Rialto Bridge. Dal Moro's Fresh Pasta to Go, Calle della casseleria I can recommend for good quality at reasonable prices. There are homemade fresh pasta with different sauces to take away. There is also a nice fast pizza service right across the street. Have fun!
Good complete package
The Venice City Pass is a very good investment, provided you really want to enjoy cultural experiences. The advantages are obvious: better entry conditions, cheaper tariffs, etc. Between the lines, I would like to ask nevertheless, some opening times to the realities adapt. These sometimes do not match the actual opening times. As a tip I would still for shopping enthusiasts that it is worthwhile to make a comparison between the individual offers. At street vendors we found identical goods a lot cheaper than in the designed stores.
